Andy has been driving for over 37 years and has extensive driving history he’s driven a  large variety of vehicles such as Motorcycles, Cars, Vans, Mini Buses and even Tanks ! whilst serving in the British Army.

 

With a long career in  the Police Service Andy served for 17 years of those years on the Roads Policing Command where he used his driving skills as a Pursuit and TPAC driver. Andy feels that his policing career and training has given him the valuable skills and experience that he can share to his pupils to make them safe confident and competent drivers.

 

Andy understands that learning to drive can be challenging and stressful at times but he believes learning should be an enjoyable experience, his relaxed patient and professional approach to teaching helps to enhance his pupils learning journey.

 

Andy lives in Sitttingbourne and is married with two grown up daughters, both of which he supported learning to driving during the lockdown. This was the grounding that inspired Andy wanting to become a driving instructor when he retired from the police service.

 

Andy has enjoyed his training with Keith Wells and Jason Ledley and  is looking forward to passing on his new learnt skills as a driving instructor to his pupils. Andy   is proud to be joining Wells Driver Training family who have such a great reputation in Kent.
